Eddie Chandler (Vincent Kartheiser) isn’t a bad kid but he’s hanging out with the wrong crowd, ignoring his mother and heading for trouble. A petty crime goes wrong and Eddie is seriously injured. He is mistaken for dead and transported to heaven by a novice angel named Howard. When the error is realized, Eddie is returned to Earth. Following his “miraculous recovery,” Howard reappears as Eddie’s social worker, a wondrous teacher with an inspiring ability to touch people’s lives. Under Howard’s guidance, Eddie undergoes a dramatic transformation. The new Eddie is soon put to the test when he must save his mother from grave danger.
